We had a bit of a scare 3 days after Penelope was born as a few times she made spastic movements followed by a stoppage of breathing. We took her to the hospital where they kept her for 5 days while her situation was monitored and all kinds of tests were performed. Luckily all tests came back negative and she could come home. Penelope is still on a seizure suppressing
medicine but is eating very well. We hope that the seizures were just a glitch (this happens more often with newborns as their brain is still developing) and so far she is doing well and has not had any more events since the first day she was in the hospital.

Penelope Avalon & Scarlett Lia Neetlje
Penelope Avalon was born on April 19 at 07.23am and weighs 6.1 lbs (2.75 kg). We are very happy with our new addition! In the meantime Scarlett is a riot and enjoys splashing around the watertable!
